FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Quick answers to common questions about AI News, the data, and how I work.
Is AI News independent?
Yes. AI News is an independent editorial publication. It is not owned by or affiliated with any AI tool company. Coverage is driven by editorial standards, not sponsors.
How do you pick which tools to cover?
I track the most widely used AI tools across four categories: LLMs, Video Translation, Image Generation, and Video Generation. Tools are selected based on market adoption, feature significance, and reader interest.
How often is tool data verified?
Every tool listing is re-verified against official sources at least every 90 days. Pricing, features, and compliance data are checked directly on each tool's website. Every listing shows its last verified date.
Do you accept sponsored content?
No. I do not publish sponsored articles, paid reviews, or affiliate-driven rankings. All opinions are my own. If a tool is good, I say so. If it's not, I say that too.
How are tool comparisons created?
Comparisons are based on publicly available data: official pricing pages, feature documentation, compliance certifications, and hands-on testing. I compare tools feature-by-feature with structured tables.
Can I suggest a tool or correction?
Absolutely. If I'm missing a tool or have outdated information, reach out via the About page. I take data accuracy seriously and update listings as soon as I verify changes.
Is AI News optimized for LLMs?
Yes. I structure the content for both human readers and AI systems. Pages use semantic HTML, structured data, and follow Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) best practices so AI assistants can cite the data accurately.
Lisa Thoma
Founder & AI Solutions Engineer
I've been working as an AI Solutions Engineer for over 5 years — from ML engineering at Avanade and data science at Accenture to building LLM integrations and RAG pipelines. At some point I completely lost track of all the AI tools launching every week. So I built AI News Lab: one place where I share the most important updates, compare tools honestly, and cut through the hype. My focus: making AI practical, not just impressive.
